There is all kinds of foods and drinks that can help your gums and teeth to stay strong and also, don't forget to brush and floss every day and you will keep your teeth all of your life! Here is a list of foods and drinks that can help improve your gums and teeth!

List of Foods and Drinks That Can Improve Your Gum Health

•  Onions - Onions a fantastic food for healthy gums! They counteract your oral bacteria, they also get rid of the most common types of bacteria that leads to gum disease and cavities. For healthier gums, try to eat more onions in your meals. You can put them in salads, on any type of sandwiches, and hamburgers. You can also put them in stir fries, any type of soups, stews, and chilies.
•  Vegetables - Kale and spinach have healthy vitamins and minerals in them to keep your teeth strong. They also have vitamin C in it. Vitamin C boosts red blood cells and decreases inflammation. They battle irritation and gum disease. Even though vegetables are chewier, they have high fiber content, and that is good for gums! More chewy foods help create saliva, which helps to wash out trapped food particles, bacteria, and plaque that could be sticking to your teeth and gums.
•  Fruits - Oranges, kiwis, pineapple, and strawberries. They can act as an anti-inflammatory vitamin, which is amazing for your gums! You can Add them in smoothies, with yogurt, and in salads, who doesn't love a good fruit salad?
•  Dairy - Milk, yogurt, and cheese, are great for your teeth! They have high levels of calcium, and that helps strengthen your bones, and they are also great for your gums! They have a protein called Casein in it, which is found in a lot of dairy foods and drinks. Casein helps to counteract your oral acids and bacteria that is found in your mouth. The acid destroys your tooth enamel and gum tissue, and can lead to irritation.
